Sudarshan Chemicals Inc. Ltd. is a leading colour & effect pigment manufacturer with experience of over 60 years, having been founded in 1952 in the state of Maharashtra (India). Its headquarter is located in Pune, and the company is currently operating two manufacturing sites in Roha and Mahad. Effect pigments are manufactured on both sites. To support innovation, the company also operates a state-of-the art R&D center in Ambadwet near Pune, where a major portion of product development in the general pigment field is done and application and technical support is provided.
The company operates according to international norms, such as ISO 9001 for quality and consistency and ISO 14001 for environmental excellence. In recognition of the company’s efforts towards strengthening the safety of workers at both plants in Roha and Mahad, the company has been awarded with a 5 star rating and the “Sword of Honour” by the British Safety Council.
