BASF recently launched “Lincare”, a naturally derived active ingredient designed to support post-laser skincare routine,helping promote a rejuvenated, healthy-looking appearance after treatment.
As aesthetic treatments become increasingly mainstream, consumers are seeking solutions that not only support recovery but also help to promote further rejuvenation after treatment. “Lincare” addresses this growing need by supporting key skin-recovery mechanisms while helping enhance visible aesthetic results.
Clinical testing demonstrated that following non-ablative fractional laser treatment (Based on clinical evaluation following non-ablative fractional 1565 nm laser treatment), a formulation containing 1% “Lincare” helped the skin barrier recover 21% faster, enabling recovery approximately 1.2 days earlier than placebo. In addition to supporting recovery, Lincare™ strengthened barrier performance beyond pre-treatment levels, delivering up to twice the barrier improvement compared with placebo after 14 days.
