The European Commission’s non-food Scientific Committees (SCCS) has published a factsheet on hair dyes entitled: “The EU is the safest market in the world for hair dyes”. This fact sheet tackles issues such as if it is safe to use hair dyes, what the major concerns are and if they are justified and if health risks are involved using hair dyes. The factsheet is presented in a format and language which can be easily understood by non-specialists.
