Reintroducing Hydrafence™, a well-established ingredient that combines a hydrocolloid matrix from rice amylopectin and a calcium-rich seaweed extract (Lithothamnion calcareum), developed through up-cycling initiatives. Hydrafence™ delivers, immediate and 120 hours of hydrating power, strengthens the skin’s barrier function, and enhances smoothness, with long-lasting results now validated using Touchy Finger® technology. In collaboration with École Centrale de Lyon, this augmented and connected human finger precisely measures skin smoothness through direct contact. To ensure inclusivity in this new in vivo test, a mixed and multi-ethnic panel was selected to reflect diversity in skin types and needs. By combining nature and technology, Hydrafence™ demonstrates how naturality and performance can coexist, with two options: one featuring 99.5% natural origin and another 100%, both certified under ISO 16128, along with COSMOS, halal certifications and vegan compliance.
