EMANON® EV-E (Glycereth-7 Caprylate/Caprate) is a water-soluble non-ionic surfactant whose INCI name is Glycereth-7 Caprylate/Caprate. This ethoxylated glycerine derivative, containing a high amount of monoester, shows a very high HLB value (HLB » 17), which makes it an excellent emulsifier of fats and oils resulting in a really versatile product that finds application in many fields, such as body showers, hair conditioners, wet wipes, make up removers, and so on.
Furthermore, EMANON® EV-E is a vegetable based, eco-friendly product, being both biodegradable and with low aquatic toxicity. The product does not include solvents, being 100% active, and thus allowing reduction of the environmental impact due to transportation.

The addition of EMANON® EV-E to make-up removing formulations (C-147), as with wet wipes, enhances the cleansing speed and the lack of residue. It is also effective in removing other kinds of make-up like lipstick, lash mascara and eyeliner.
