BASF’s Care Creations® has introduced a new version of its Sunscreen Simulator, with an array of additional practical and convenient functionalities. Its new “cockpit” user interface and the integrated EcoSun Pass tool make it easier than ever for formulators to develop innovative, effective and environmentally conscious sun care products.
The tool enables cost-effective, unlimited and real-time in-silico testing of a sunscreen’s performance, including beyond the basics sun protection factor (SPF) and UVA protection metrics also the prediction of protection from blue light and free radicals´generation. The digital sun-protection lab allows formulators to reliably test their concepts before moving on to costly in-vivo trials.
The new and improved version provides a superior user experience, enabling users to navigate between different items, to access expert advice and view relevant scientific publications.
