CosmeticBusiness 2014 – now with more room for ideas

Almost 400 exhibitors will take advantage of the international trade fair of the cosmetics supplying industry on 5 and 6 June 2014 to present their new products and services to cosmetics companies from all over Europe. Yet again, the floor space will be extended to accommodate numerous new exhibitors and more information on trends, so that CosmeticBusiness 2014 will now afford manufacturers and brand suppliers even more space for ideas.
"More suppliers, increased international participation and a forward-looking specialist programme with information on the trends in product development and design make CosmeticBusiness a key driver of innovation in the sector," explains Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. Be it for skin care or beauty products, perfumes or hair care, cleansing products or dietary supplements – trade and professional visitors will find inspiration and product ideas for all aspects of the cosmetic industry at CosmeticBusiness.
More than 50 new international exhibitors have already signed up for CosmeticBusiness 2014. The will be presenting their solutions for all stages in the value creation process. A first-time exhibitor in the field of raw feedstock is, for instance, Mibelle with new active ingredients from Switzerland. Among the new exhibitors in the contract manufacturing section at CosmeticBusiness are companies like Clarena from Poland, Laboratorios Cosmeticos Leim, founded in 1978 in Spain, and The Powder Company from Switzerland, one of the leading manufacturers of powder skin care products.
The packaging industry has traditionally been strongly represented at the show. Around 60 percent of the exhibitors at the international trade fair come from this segment. The products and services on display range from packaging of all kinds, be it plastic, glass, paper or metal, to various solutions for embellishing and decorating as well as marking and labelling.
There will be exhibitors at CosmeticBusiness 2014 from more than twenty different countries. These include, first and foremost, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland. There is a particularly large number of suppliers from France.
"CosmeticBusiness is not just a unique sector rendezvous; it is, first and foremost, a forum for the interchange of ideas in the cosmetics industry," explains Project Director, Ivonne Simons. Discussions centre on current trends and new markets, as well as on changing consumer behaviours and new legal requirements. The specialist programme includes space for all these issues and will be available online at www.cosmetic-business.com as from April 2014.
