The company, represented by Lehvoss, launched ‘Spring Snow’, a glyceric extract of Prunus Domestica variety Spinosa, a shrub growing on the coast of Brittany and characterised by dark, gray-brown bark and thorns, hence the common name black thorn. At the biochemical level, the plant is rich in bioflavonoids (derivatives of quercetin, chlorogenic acid and kaempferol) as well as amino acids. The mechanism of action works by interrupting the oxidative stress induced by external factors, which, due to an imperfect skin barrier, is able to penetrate and cause neurogenic inflammation. This results in much more comfortable, relieved and radiant skin.
