The major relaunch of the Sunscreen Simulator by BASF’s Care Creations® provides sunscreen formulators better service and more options.
The digital lab can determine the UV protection of new formulations as well as combinations of UV filters, giving with this new update developers a dynamic calculation and also the ability to compare several formulation options. In addition, formulators can set up the simulator to their unique preferences and evaluate accordingly.

Having good correlations between in vivo values and Sunscreen Simulator calculations not only saves manufacturers time, but also money. The Sunscreen Simulator can take over all the work until the point where the final formulation needs to be tested in vivo.
