The active ingredient complex of Celligent has been specially developed for protecting and treating skin from daily stresses such as UV-exposure. It protects the DNA and supports the repair of UV-induced cell and stem cell damage. Three active principles are interlocked: Ethyl Ferulate, a natural antioxidant with UV absorbing properties, neutralises dangerous oxygen radicals and reduces the dose of UV radiation which penetrates the skin. Carnosolic acid combats free radicals – one of the main causes of DNA and cell damage. Uridine Monophosphate (UMP), a biochemical pre-cursor to the synthesis of nucleotides, supports the repair of DNA in the cell.
