Angela Kleiner of Croda in her article in COSSMA 1-2/2013 explains why the Solaveil SpeXtra broad spectrum filters, as shown in the latest findings, not only meet the legal requirements with respect to UVB and UVA protection, but also offer protection against the HEV component of the light spectrum which also contributes to skin ageing. In addition it has been shown that the regenerative anti-ageing active Matrixyl 3000 significantly improves the fibre structure of the skin and ensures a significant increase in the density of the papillary dermis.
