Won’t be long until COSMOS – The COSMetic Organic Standard comes fully into force in January 2017
This standard has been developed by several associations (BDIH, Germany; COSMEBIO & ECOCERT, France; ICEA, Italy and SOIL ASSOCIATION, UK) to determine common requirements and definitions for organic and/or natural cosmetics at European and international level. By the end of this year the individual member standards still can be chosen. But from January 2017 on any new products requesting certification from these bodies will be certified exclusively to COSMOS standard.
