Overall the Synperonic™ PE series exist of nine Synperonic types that are structurally similar but differing in their molecular weight, hydrophobic/hydrophilic character and their physical state. That’s why their effects differ and open a world of broad formulation opportunities. The spectrum ranges from using Synperonic PE products as detergents and solubilizers as well as thickeners for different personal care formulations. Forming mild micellar systems offers gentle cleansing solutions. Because Synperonic PE surfactants generate smaller amount of flash foam compared to traditional surfactants water use can be reduced in the rinse off process. The film forming properties of Synperonic PE/F 127 can be used for improved pigment coverage and a spreadability effect as well as improved rub resistance.
One outstanding feature to create impressive and unique textures is the ability of thermoreversible gelling – making it possible to create for example face masks that are liquid when stored in the fridge and thicken while applying to the skin. This improves delivery of actives to the skin and will definitely increase the customer experience.
