Crodabond™ CSA is a 100% naturally derived and effective multi-performer. This film-forming copolymer of Sebacic Acid and Hydrogenated Castor Oil can be used in haircare as well as colour cosmetic applications. While it repairs the hair fibres and reduces split ends when used in conditioners or hair serums, it improves the durability of colour cosmetic applications, for example, in lipsticks or foundations. Extensive abrasion testing was performed to demonstrate the performance. In addition, Crodabond CSA gives a pleasant skin and hair shine because of its refractive index of 1.47.
Because of the effective cuticle smoothing properties, Crodabond CSA also provides colour protection for dyed hair fibres. Our results show that when Crodabond CSA is used in conditioners or pre-shampoo primers the hair dye molecules are washed out much more slowly.
