Dr. habil. Sven Gohla, Vice President R&D at La Prairie Group, comments on the implications of stem cells in personal care and cosmetics products. He describes product concepts of finished products using stem cells, i.e. protection concepts with anti-oxidants. He thinks that the stem cell concept will be expanded in the future, but also sees some limitations for future development.
