This week Mintel focuses on holistic beauty, a trend which has been gaining momentum with growing health awareness and the establishment of a more sophisticated view of wellness. Here we review a selection of products which are multiuse satisfying the necessary clean credentials.

These products are built on the holistic perspective that humans are a part of nature and are therefore inseparable from it. Many holistic beauty products and brands highlight their clean credentials both from a human angle and an environmental angle. Marketing can include free-from claims for a person’s physical wellness, support for organisations that promote mental wellbeing or claims related to environmental wellness such as cruelty-free and recyclable packaging.
