With its broad spectrum of products and orientation towards the entire value chain, CosmeticBusiness (8 to 9 June 2016) fosters the development and creation of cosmetics products from the selection of raw materials to the final marketing phase. The successful B2B trade fair offers the cosmetics industry and its suppliers every interface to bring their products on to the market.
As with other industries, the cosmetics sector is influenced by the ever growing trend towards individualisation and personalisation. The consumer is becoming ever more demanding in his or her choice of products. In order to preserve cost efficient production in the face of rising market forces and to add value, it is necessary for all stakeholders to work closely together. As the international trade platform of the cosmetics supplying industry – a third of the exhibitors and one in four visitors come from outside Germany – CosmeticBusiness is a significant support to this collaboration. Every year it brings together suppliers in the areas of raw materials, production and packaging in the MOC events centre in Munich, in order to promote new product ideas. Around 400 suppliers from more than 20 countries are showcasing their cumulative cosmetics competence.
Around a third of the exhibitors are showcasing services and products in the area of manufacture. Those who profit from this most are brand suppliers looking for suitable manufacturers who can quickly turn consumers’ wishes into new product lines. The trend towards natural cosmetics as well as medical efficacy remains strong and also shapes the profile of new exhibitors such as, for example, Bci Bio Cosmetics or MedSkin Solution.
On show at CosmeticBusiness 2016 will be an extended range of laboratories, testing institutes and suppliers of software programmes for documentation, data management and automation, who can provide competent support to developers and producers.
Package design, along with the ingredients and the production process, is also increasingly tied into sustainability. Creative but sustainable and recyclable packaging is right at the top of the marketers’ wish list. For this reason, suppliers of environmentally friendly packaging materials and sustainable packing methods, as well as refining and finishing processes and technologies that conserve our natural resources, are increasingly to be found at CosmeticBusiness.
By means of the special show CosmeticBusiness Spotlight visitors will also gain in 2016 a perspective on the exhibitorsʹ new ideas and innovations. What is more, the specialist programme offers numerous topics on current developments and trend forecasts for the cosmetics sector up till 2018.
