Velsan® Flex is an amphiphilic material with optimized chemical structure offering multi-functionality: preservation boosting and powerful solubilizing efficacy, avoiding usage of PEG or PPG and therefore also avoiding side effects like stickiness, thinning viscosity and poor ecological profile.
Velsan® Flex is a water soluble, cold processable, ISO 16128 and Cosmos compliant ingredient with an RCI of 93%.
As a solubilizing surfactant, Velsan® Flex is capable of creating emulsion particles so small that light passes through them and the solution remains clear. It can be used to incorporate lipophilic materials such as essential oils, perfume oils, plant extracts, oily actives or vitamin E.
