Adhespack’s Self Sampling Connect technology is a self-service system for distributing perfume and make-up samples. When the customer touches the touchscreen, the equipment dispenses a sample. The new version with Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity allows monitoring the campaign in real time on the cloud. Another technology launched recently is the Scent Duo, a cheaper, more sustainable card as a less fragile alternative to vials. When opened, the perfume is released to smell or test on the skin. The fragrance can be discovered via a beautiful printed card.

Albéa’s Mini Néa’s available in 5ml, 7.5ml and 10ml formats and also in an atmospheric version are designed to protect formulas well. The company’s best-selling SP22 Panache Pulse range has also expanded with a travel size and an appealing can format. SP22 Panache Pulse now comes in travel size with the Sofistic model, available in 10 and 15ml formats. This new mini version offers the same spray performance as the retail format.

Arcade Beauty measured the environmental benefits of digital printing compared to gravure printing. The results show an overall environmental gain in favour of digital printing, with reductions of 65% in ink consumption, 88% on solvents and 98% on water (used in solvent treatment). As part of its eco-design approach, the company’s new aluminum-free sachet uses a new metallic material, a real alternative to aluminum with the same durability and protection of the product. It also saves 57% on water compared to a conventional aluminum-based laminate and reduces the carbon footprint by 22%. Whether in a flat sachet or in a 3D sachet, this new solution paves the way for brands wishing to develop more environmentally friendly products without compromising the rigour of their specifications.

Arcade Beauty created a flocked insert for Pure XS For Her, Paco Rabanne’s latest fragrance for women. For the flock, Arcade Beauty relied on the expertise of PPA and Flock 1. The selective flocking was carried out on coated paper and deposited in register on the four-colour process with perfect control of excess fibres. 

To present the fragrance and simulate its 4-lobed bottle, Guerlain chose Arcade Beauty’s LiquaTouch sample in the shape of the bottle. The patented technology of this sample allows you to present the actual fragrance thanks to a non-woven applicator protected by two layers of an aluminum laminate. As soon as it is opened, the fragrance gradually reveals itself on the skin for a state-of-the-art discovery. This type of sample adjusts its label and even the pad it contains to the chosen shape. It is available in double or triple versions to reveal several fragrances in a single marketing operation. Arcade Beauty also developed a new form of travel packs for the Christophe Robin brand, directly inspired by the food sector, for its new hair care range in pocket format. Commonly used for liquid soaps and other compotes, this flexible pack called 3D Pouch offers multiple assets to the beauty sector. It has a completely waterproof closing system that may be positioned on the top or on the side. Depending on its size, it is designed to stand with a gusseted bottom. Just a few months after the launch by Carestia Arcade Beauty of the scented stickers, major brands such as Givenchy are already adopting the concept. Scarlet flowers, cotton candy, big hearts, ferris wheel, the patterns of the campaign are printed in offset on a 300 g card, to spray on the points of sale. Each card includes 9 patterns to stick on a computer, a mirror, your diary, your phone or even the dashboard of your car.
