For its 12th edition, the two tradeshows organized by Beyond Beauty Events – COSMEETING and CREATIVE Beauty – brought together for 3 days (from 9 to 11 September 2014) nearly 18,248 business visitors, amongst which 35% are international, coming to see what’s new and next in Beauty from brands to suppliers, covering the sectors of Skincare, Haircare, Make-up, Bodycare & Toiletries, Spa & Professional Products, Accessories and Fragrances.

« Cosmeeting and Creative Beauty is the scene for always more specialized business meetings between brands and retailers, as well as between suppliers and product development teams of world’s largest cosmetics manufacturers » - says Pradip Bala, General Manager. VIP guests (25%), such as decision and order makers, opinion leaders and buyers, all came to establish new business relationships with 361 exhibitors, including 48% foreign companies. The international dimension of both tradeshows is reinforcing alongside the presence of key contacts coming from Marketing Departments together with Purchase Manager, CEO & General Manager, Marketing Director, Product Development and R&D Manager.

The consolidation and quality of those on-site business meetings have also been driven by hosting a delegation of 50 premium Chinese buyers in partnership with Guangzhou Global Beauty Thinking Commercial Service. It resulted in more than 150 appointments with brands willing to develop their export strategy on the Asian market. In the same way, a new exhibition area - Cosmeeting Selective - was designed to help 9 fast-growing brands meet with key buyers from the selective distribution: Intertrade (Italy) Chalhoub Group (UAE), Prestige Luxury Brands (South Africa), Kamana (Ukraine) Rebeco (South Korea), Private Cosmetics (Brazil), The Beautyst (France), Be Keen (UK) ...

For the 2nd time, the exhibitor-visitor connection has been strongly optimized through a free and personalized guide aimed at all visitors, enabling them to get a comprehensive list of key exhibitors matching their needs and research criteria. This tool has allowed even more relevant meetings, improved the show’s understanding and created a targeted traffic on the booths.

The conceptualized and exploratory BB LAB area focuses on the expertise and potential

Central theme this year was « Beauty Hair » involving 9 major industry players who came to open up new paths of innovation : Seppic INDUCHEM, KUPANDA, LABORATORIES and PROD'HYG LETTIC, MIBELLE BIOCHEMISTRY, Croda, BERKEM, EFFERVESCENCE LAB OLSA SAS.

Once again, visitors had the chance to explore on the BBLAB a dedicated Product Shopping area! Gathered from Asia, USA and the rest of the world, our partners MINTEL, INFO & INSPIRATION and COSMETICS INSPIRATION & CREATION have presented the latest haircare trends in terms of concept, packaging, distribution, etc.

Beauty Challenger Awards
This year BCA welcomed the brands Dermed, Nougatine de Paris, Skinniks by Mades Cosmetics, Collagena, Armencelle, Actigold, Olivarium and many other, alongside international retailers such as Marks & Spencer, QVC, Douglas, Interlux, Chainol, headed by M.
