Awantys for Eve’laor - a jar of extreme luxury

Carsten Wolansky from Awantys explains how his company managed to meet all the requirements for the creation of a cosmetic jar of extreme luxury. Awantys chose DuPont’s Surlyn for the 36-surface outer jar. This material is  highly  transparent  even  at  a high wall thickness. In addition, when  the material  is  processed properly even thick walls do not show sink marks. The ring in the middle, which was to be gold-plated, is made from ABS and all other  parts  are made from  PP.  The ABS-Ring  was  gold-plated  with real gold and all other parts were metallised with gold.
