BASF Personal Care and Nutrition, Stand E40, presents Replexium, a skin-bioavailable synergistic complex of two patented peptides. This peptide blend has been shown to work on various layers of the skin. It was demonstrated to decrease the appearance of fine lines and to improve dermal density. The natural polypeptidic Proteasyl extracted from peas acts as a protease inhibitor that improves skin elasticity. New study results proved the active ingredient’s efficacy on multiple body parts. RNAge, extracted from sea buckthorn, helps the dermis to stay dense, rebuilding it from deep within. Hyalurosmooth, extracted from the Indian Cassia angustifolia, represses the cortisol damaging impact on skin and helps the skin recover its hydration and radiance. The anti-ageing active ingredient for hair DN-Age slows down the hair greying process and reduces hair loss. Rheocare XGN is the company’s first polymer based on pure vegan xanthan gum. The thickening agent and stabiliser for emulsion and surfactant-based formulations is 100% based on renewable feedstock.

Tinosorb S Lite Aqua is the water-dispersible form of its oil-soluble counterpart Tinosorb S. It helps to reduce the UV filter load in the oil phase for more flexibility and lighter formulations. Distributing the UV filter load between the oil and water phase boosts the SPF and UV-A protection factor.
