Symrise
Symrise presents new findings for its tropolone-based products SymDiol 68T and SymOcide PT. Among other things, the data proves the antioxidant effect of Tropolone: it acts against primary and secondary free radicals and stabilises organic compounds against oxidation. In addition, it reduces the oxidation of proteins by 60% and the formation of peroxides in sunflower oil by 45%. With these properties, Tropolone also supports product protection in cosmetic formulations.
