Antoinette van den Berg: Good-bye to "Ikea Faces"

Antoinette van den Berg, founder of the product forecasting studio Future Touch, believes that the trend to have wrinkle-free faces and  faultless teeth is on the down-slide. Individual "trade marks" like tooth gaps are what consumers will look for in the future. Colour cosmetics for men are on the up and up, but when developing them, it is important that those are really targeted and not just a male version of an existing female product. The colour white will gain in importance in colour cosmetics, as will specially designed ingredients that add the "extra factor", a little "extra to your senses", like a special texture or a very unique fragrance.
