Lutz Herrmann: Most exciting design trends in fragrance packaging
In his opinion, packaging design in perfumery has become more phantasy driven, bottles of recent launches are very sculptural. Herrmann thinks that designers need to be much more outspoken and innovative as brands want to attract customers with innovative packaging design. In addition to this, Herrmann sees lots of potental also for customized perfumery products which are often launched by smaller companies. When it comes to materials, he thinks that non-glass bottles might become an interesting alternative for future packaging concepts.
