According to Mintel, high-value growth is predicted in Asian countries of Indonesia, Vietnam and India, while slowing markets are in the West, including France and the US.

Non-sticky gels and creams, no-waste and precise application rollerballs, easy-use cushions, and portable solid sticks and pens are examples of alternative formats or textures which offer differentiation in a market full of liquid sprays. Meanwhile there is continued interest in bespoke and unique scents driving layering concepts.
