Avoiding free radicals during the self-tanning process

Consumers expect a "healthy tan" from self-tanning products, i.e. beautifully bronzed skin without the negative effects of sun-bathing. Recent studies have shown however that the number of free radicals is dramatically increased if, after applying a self-tanner, the user goes out into sunlight. COSSMA editor Angelika Meiss asked Dr Heike Flösser-Müller of BASF how this problem can be solved.

A manufacturer that wants to do everything possible to persuade his customers to buy his products must also give careful consideration to the packaging to be that his product clearly stands out from the crowd. To facilitate your search for the ideal partner to help you in this task we have fully updated our market survey of packaging suppliers. Our handy tabular layout shows at a glance, in the different columns, who is active in which aspect of packaging supply, and who could be helpful to you. We have listed a total of 120 suppliers in this year’s market survey. Particularly when you are looking for suppliers of jars, bottles or tubes a market survey like ours, with 45 different companies in that field, gives you a good choice. But, with 39 names, service providers in the packaging industry are also well represented. Many of the suppliers also include themselves in the listing that covers packaging for colour cosmetics, where we have 32 companies.In the column headed „Most important product“ you will also see immediately whether the supplier in question has a particular speciality.
