Dr. Karl Lintner (Kal'Idees): A life for peptides

Dr. Karl Lintner, Consultant at Kal’Ideés and winner of the In-Cosmetics Lifetime Achievement Award talks about his major achievements in his professional life: The introduction of synthetic, biological active peptides into cosmetic formulas. During his time at Sederma, major patents were filed with peptides, also on liposomes, microwave technology or plant extracts with stem cells. The most striking one, Lintner says, was the patent that protected Matrixyl, an anti-age peptide that reduces wrinkles without safety problems and with great efficacy.
