The Holzminden-based company’s commitment to reducing so-called upstream emissions has now been rewarded by the non-profit organisation CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) with the top grade A in its Supplier Engagement Rating (SER). Symrise has defined a code of conduct for responsible procurement that applies to all suppliers. In the next step, the Group intends to increase the number of suppliers that fulfil these strict requirements.
